Its OEM on the the computer and the disk im using and both have SP3 on them. I was gonna use the cd key on the case of the computer (its a Dell) but i decided to see if the cd key on the computer was the same as on the case. I ran Keyfinder (a utility for discovering what the cd key is on your computer) and it was different than the one on the case. Which cd key should I use for the repair install?

Right now it is installed, but I finally got off of my lazy bum and went to register at the Sims 3 site. Except now I can’t because I need the serial key… the serial key that was on the part I lost. It is frustrating because the program is still installed. I remember for the Sims 2 someone had made a program that retrieved all the CD keys for legally owned games that you had installed. I was wondering if there was something similar for the Sims 3.
The problem is that if you want to join the Sims 3 website you need a code that has never been used before so I can’t borrow someone else. Since my game was freshly purchased when I installed it, my key should work fine.
